Axia is me, or to be more precise, it's my online nickname.

Axia is also the name of the character I played Jedi Academy Multiplayer with.

Actually, Axia wasn't exactly born when I started playing JK3 (Jedi Knight Academy). Before JK3, I was playing JK2 (Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast) multiplayer, and was using the name Axis under a male identity. When I discovered JK3 and could actually use a decent female model ingame, I turned Axis into Axia.

 

If you have never played an online game or have no idea what an online game is, you probably won't get many things from what is written bellow

 

Jedi Knight Academy is a first person shooter game, which focuses on third person view, and gives you the ability to take the persona of a Jedi. Its single player game is like most other games of its type. Its multiplayer game though gives the ability to players from all over the world to interact in a simulated enviroment, through different maps and gametypes, without any objectives to fullfill (with the exception of a couple of gametypes). It also has completely free movement and choice of actions, and is customizable with files you can download to add maps, models or mods to the game, to keep it interesting. You can also make your own scripts.

I was playing this online game for about 3 years on and off (yes, I really liked it). I met a lot of people from all over the world through it. I also created a number of forums for the different teams in the multiplayer version of the game. In addition I tried the Movies Battles version of the multiplayer game, a fan-created mod that allows you to experience scenes from the Star Wars movies while one team competes with another to fullfill their objectives. Overall, JK3 was a fun game to play.
